1985 Topps Rookie Cards

The 1985 Topps rookie football cards contain a great selection of rookie cards including ones of Warren Moon, Richard Dent, Irvin Fryar, and Mike Munchak. There is a great selection of second year cards as well, but with the rookie selection, there are many great ones highlighted by the rookie card of Warren Moon. I also have opened a few wax boxes of these cards and am close to having a complete set, I am only missing some commons. When the forum gets more crowded, I will post my want list for those cards. This set includes second year cards of the big name rookies from 1984 including John Elway, Dan Marino and Eric Dickerson, among others. The selection of rookies in this set is of high quality. There are also rookie cards of Bill Bates, and the former Los Angeles Rams' standout wide receiver Henry Ellard as well as Mark Clayton and Craig James.

The prices for these cards are relatively inexpensive. The Warren Moon rookie has a book value of $15 or so, and the rest of the rookies book at around $4 or all the way down to 75 cents for the Craig James rookie card. These can be acquired in quantity as well, and provide a great investment if they are to increase in value in the future.
